Big Data BI scalable engine for the process and identification of music metadata is a disruptive solution for matching and repor-ting music usage to CMOs by daily proces-sing of billions of lines of usages reported by digital services like YouTube and Spotify to identify musical works. The solution follows the authors’ rights in a multifunctio-nal, efficient and transparent interactive panel and tracks royalties from usage reports to the invoice or CCID (Claim Con-firmation & Invoice Details).

BigWave aims at developing an elastic cloud architecture that enables the scaling of the processes of identification of musical recordings, making it possible to increase the number of daily identifications by a factor 10 and incorporate in this new identification platform the new advanced algorithms developed in the laboratory.

MatchingLearning: Motor de reconciliación de entidades impulsado por IA para la industria de la música (AI-powered entity reconciliation engine for the music industry) – 2021/C005/00149157 is a novel solution based on Deep Learning algorithms used for matching and homogenisation of music data and metadata databases.
Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública supports this R&D project in technologies associated with the Metaverse and Web 3 as part of the Spain Audiovisual Hub of Europe plan. Proof-of-Play muSIc oraCLE (PoPSICLE) – Audio Fingerprint-Based Blockchain Oracle for Decentralised Logging of Music Usage – FAV-010200-2022-0019 proposes the development of a decentralised music oracle, designed with the potential to become the industry standard, to allow creators of musical works to receive correct and secure information about the use of their creations, and is financed by:

resCUE: Smart system for automatic usage reporting of musical works in audiovisual productions – SAV-20221147 aims at providing the audiovisual industry with an intelligent tool for the creation, management and declaration of cuesheets.
The Eurostars project E!693 Live Insights – Turning online music streams into offline success aims at developing an AI-based platform that analyses data from digital music streaming services and social media to discover untapped revenue opportunities for performing artists, live music venues and event ticketing companies. Using GLI, artists can plan tours and promotional activity with data-based certainty. Venues can discover artists with a growing audience in their area and predict ticket Sales. This project has received funding from the Eurostars-3 joint programme with co-funding from the CDTI, supported by the Spanish Science and Innovation Ministry, and the European Union Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
MUSIC360 – A 360-degree perspective on the value of music has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101094872. KEIA aims to establish the principles for advanced content auditing techniques in AI-generated music. It addresses the lack of transparency of current systems by investigating the use of copyrighted material for the training of models and developing strategies to obtain and identify such content in the generated material. This project 6256 – Auditio: Amplify Growth: Transformative Audio Insights Platform, a novel, cost-effective, scalable, and transformative platform to provide music data and recommendations to music venues, retail and hospitality outlets, has received funding from the Eurostars-3 joint programme with co-funding from the CDTI, supported by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencias, Innovación e Universidades, and the European Union Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. Auditio will allow outlets in the music, retail and hospitality sectors to amplify their growth with accurate music insight.
