The first ever BMAT Music Innovators blog post.
We have finally decided to start our own blog.
We are turning 12 years old at the end of 2017 and we consider this the right moment to get ready for our teenage years. We have been introverted for long enough. Look, here’s proof:
This was 2 years before we spun off BMAT Music Innovators from the Music Technology Group audio research lab. Many things have changed for good since then: we track music all around the world, we service data to hundreds of partners and we use flat screens. But we still need to work on some other pieces like open up to people and tell them about That Thing We Do. That’s what we aim to do in this blog.
We want to post about projects we are working on, books and articles we read, questions we don’t have an answer for, festivals and conferences we go to, off-topics we wonder about, interesting data we crunch, challenges we need your help with, achievements we are proud of, people we like and a lot of ins, a lot of outs and a lot of what-have-you’s.
Hello world, we are BMAT.
